Olohuoneessa olevaa

Olohuoneen nurkassa keväisen värinen taulu odottaa ripustamista. Olen sentään jo edistynyt ja kaivanut taulut esille aaltopahvipakkauksista, vaikkei yksikään ole vielä päässyt seinälle. Ikkunalla orkidean vieressä on viimeisin ostos Summer Housesta, mistä löytyi sopivan yksinkertainen hurrikaanilyhty ikkunalle. Itse ikkuna saattaa kaivata vähän pesua lähiaikoina, sillä aurinko on aika armoton lian suhteen. Valkoisille maljakoille keksin oivallisen paikan kirjahyllyn päältä, ja vielä jäi paljon tilaa täydentää kokoelmia. Rivistössä olevat tyhjät paikat johtuvat siitä, että pari maljakkoa on juuri käytössä.

Un quadro dai colori primaverili sta aspettando nell'angolo del soggiorno. Ho già tolto il cartone di protezione da tutti i quadri ma neanche uno è stato ancora appeso. Sul davanzale accanto all'orchidea c'è il mio ultimo acquisto da Summer House, un semplice vaso di vetro per candela. Le finestre le dovrei proprio lavare presto perché il sole comincia e rivelare tutto lo sporco. Ho trovato un ottimo posto per i vasi bianchi. Ora stanno sulla libreria e c'è ancora molto spazio per crescere la collezione. In questo momento la fila non è molto regolare perché ho preso un paio di vasi in uso.

A painting with colours of spring is waiting in the corner of the living room. I have already taken all the pictures and paintings out of the packagings but we still haven't started hanging them on the walls. On the window next to the orchid is my latest purchase from Summer House, a very simple hurricane candle holder. I really should clean the windows soon because the sun now starts to reveal all the dirt. The white vases found a perfect place above the bookshelf and there's still lots of space to grow the collection. At the moment there are some empty places in the row since a couple of vases are being used.
