Kuvia kotinurkista

Kotiin piti saada heti palattua tuoreita kukkia, joten leikkasin pihalla olevasta hortensiasta yhden kauniin vaaleanpunaisen oksan ja ostin kimpun jännän vaaleanvihreän sävyisiä ruusuja. Hortensiakuvia on vähän turhankin monta, mutta en vain osannut päättää, mistä pidin eniten. Ensimmäisessä ja viimeisessä kuvassa näkyy kaksi lomalla tehtyä pysyvämpää hankintaa. Tab T etsii vielä vähän paikkaansa, sillä tuossa Artekin penkillä se on turhan lähellä toista valaisinta. Lokkia alias Sky Flyeria sen sijaan olimme (tai ainakin minä olin) kaivanneet tuohon kirjastohuoneeseen jo pitkään, sillä entinen valaisin oli paremman puutteessa ostettu väliaikaisratkaisu, jota jouduin katselemaan reilut viisi vuotta.

Mi piace avere sempre fiori freschi a casa, quindi ho tagliato un ramo dall'ortensia rosa che abbiamo nel giardino e inoltre ho comprato un mazzo di rose che sono di un colore particolare, verde chiaro. Ho messo qui anche troppe foto dell'ortensia ma era troppo difficile sceglierne solo un paio. Nella prima e ultima foto si vedono due acquisti che abbiamo fatto durante le vacanze e che dureranno sicuramente nel tempo. Non so ancora quale sarà il posto finale di Tab T perché sulla panchina di Artek sta troppo vicino a un'altra lampadina. La lampada Sky Flyer di Yki Nummi invece era una cosa che pensavamo di comprare da tempo (o almeno il lo pensavo) perché la lampada che avevamo prima qui nella biblioteca era una soluzione temporanea che è rimasta in casa per oltre cinque anni.

I wanted to have some fresh flowers at home so I cut a flower from a pink hydrangea we have in the garden and bought a bunch of unusual light green roses. There's almost too many pictures of the hydrangea but I couldn't choose which ones I liked best. In the first and the last picture you can see two purchases that we brought home from the holidays. I'm not quite sure were the Tab T lamp will be put since it's actually too close to another lamp on the Artek bench. The other lamp, Sky Flyer by Yki Nummi instead was something we were really missing (or at least I was) since the old lamp we had installed in the library room was a temporary solution that stayed in use for more than five years.

Loman loppu on uuden alku

Takana on viiden viikon lomailu ja edessä paluu arkeen. Onneksi helle hellii edelleen täällä Saksassa, ja hyvää säätä on luvattu lähipäiviksikin. Toisaalta on jo ihan kivakin olla taas kotona, sillä kyllä loman viettokin käy pitemmän päälle työstä, kun lämpötila huitelee +35 asteen tuntumassa. Pizzaa, jätskiä, granitaa ja aurinkoa tuli Italiassa tankattua sen verran runsaasti, että eiköhän tällä taas jakseta seuraavaan kesään asti, ja lomakuvista riittää materiaalia aika moneen postaukseen. Loman loppu tuo tullessaan myös jotakin uutta, sillä blogini on liittynyt monen lempiblogini upeaan seuraan Indiedays Inspiration -yhteisöön. Suurkiitos kutsusta! Dopo cinque settimane di vacanze stiamo tornando alla vita normale quotidiana in Germania. Meno male che il tempo continua ad essere bello anche qui e dovrebbe pure continuare così nei prossimi giorni. A dire il vero è anche bello essere di nuovo a casa perché alla lunga la vacanza diventa un po' faticosa quando la temperatura è costantemente intorno ai +35 gradi. Con tutta la pizza, gelato, granita e sole goduti in Italia dovremmo farcela fino all'estate prossima, e le foto scattate nelle ultime settimane offrono tanto materiale per il blog. La fine delle vacanze porta anche una novità visto che il mio blog si trova ora anche nel portale Indiedays Inspiration insieme a tanti blog bellissimi. Grazie mille per l'invito! Il blog continuerà in pratica come prima ma ci si può accedere anche da qui.

After five weeks of holidays we're getting back to the normal everyday life in Germany. Lucky enough the weather is nice and warm also here and it should remain like this at least for a few days. Actually it's also nice to be at home again, since being on holiday starts to get heavy when the temperature is around +35 degrees Celsius all the time. With all the pizza, ice cream, granita and sun we had in Italy we should manage until next summer and the holiday pictures offer lots of material for future blog posts. The end of the holidays brings along also something new, since my blog is now part of the Indiedays Inspiration blog community and I'm in really great company. Thank you so much for the invitation! Vielä vähän messuista

Terveisiä Saksasta! Olemme täällä kääntymässä ennen kuin suuntaamme kohti Sisilian helteitä. Kameran muistikortti on täyttynyt loman aikana kuvista, mutta niiden purkaminen koneelle taitaa onnistua vasta lomailun päätyttyä, etenkin kun olemme Italiassa aika pitkälti nettipimennossa ja jätän kannettavankin kotiin. Tässä on kuitenkin vielä loput asuntomessuilla ottamani kuvat. Kivahan messuilla oli käydä, mutta vähän jäi sellainen yleisvaikutelma, että aika harvassa kohteessa oli loppujen lopuksi mitään uutta ja jännää tai kuvaamisen arvoista. Ehkä se oli toisaalta ihan hyväkin, sillä kameran akku alkoi olla loppuajasta aika tyhjä, ja kuten miehelle sanoin, ainakin taas selvisi, millaisia juttuja ja ratkaisuja en ainakaan omaan kotiin halua ;) Nyt täytyy alkaa pakkailla superkevyitä kesävaatteita kassiin. Kuulemisiin elokuussa!

Saluti dalla Germania! Stiamo qui un paio di giorni prima che continuiamo il viaggio verso la Sicilia. La scheda di memoria della macchina fotografica è piena di foto ma le sposterò al computer solo dopo le vacanze, anche perché in Italia saremo al mare senza connessione Internet e lascerò anche il portatile a casa. Ecco comunque le ultime foto scattate alla fiera delle case. È stato simpatico visitare la fiera ma non erano tantissime le case che offrivano qualcosa di nuovo ed entusiasmante e che valeva la pena fotografare. Dall'altra parte meglio così visto che batteria della macchina fotografica era quasi scarica alla fine, e come ho anche detto al marito, ora so chiaramente che tipo di cose e soluzioni non voglio assolutamente avere a casa mia ;) Ora devo cominciare a mettere i vestiti più leggeri nella valigia. Ci sentiamo in agosto!

Greetings from Germany! We're staying here for a couple of days before we head towards Sicily. My camera memory card is full of pictures but I'll transfer them to the computer only after the holidays since we won't have Internet connection in Italy and I'm leaving the computer at home. Here's anyway the rest of the pictures I took at the housing fair. It was nice going there but I have to say there weren't too many houses with new great ideas that were worth photographing. On the other side it was also a good thing since my cameras battery was almost finished at the end, and as I told my husband, at least now I know for sure what kind of things and solutions I absolutely don't want to have in my own home ;) Now I better start packing my lightest summer clothes in the suitcase.
