Hello Handmade ja BYW

Sunnuntaiaamuna hyppäsin junaan ja lähdin Hampuriin käymään Hello Handmade -käsityömessuilla ja tapaamaan lähiseudulla asuvia  entisiä ja nykyisiä Blogging Your Way -kurssilaisia. Oli tosi hauska tutustua muihin bloggaajiin, suurkiitos Elodielle järjestelyistä ja kutsusta ja koko mahtavalle naisporukalle brunssiseurasta! Kuvia tapaamisesta löytyy täältä ja täältä. Messuilla oli niin paljon väkeä, ettei kaikkien pöytien lähelle päässyt ja kuvaaminenkin oli hankalaa, etenkin kun mukana oli vain pokkarikamera, mutta tässä nyt kuitenkin muutama kuva.

Domenica mattina ho preso il treno e sono andata ad Amburgo a visitare la fiera Hello Handmade e a incontrare altre partecipanti del corso Blogging Your Way. È stato molto bello conoscere altre bogger, grazie a Elodie per l'organizzazione e l'invito e a tutte per la simpaticissima compagnia! Qui e qui ci sono foto del nostro incontro. Alla fiera c'era tanta gente che era difficile vedere i prodotti e fotografare, anche perché avevo portato solo la macchina fotografica piccola, ma ecco comunque alcune foto.

On Sunday morning I took the train and headed to Hamburg to visit the Hello Handmade fair and to meet other current and former Blogging Your Way students. It was really nice to meet other bloggers, a big thank you to Elodie for the organization and the invitation and to all the lovely ladies for the nice time spent together during the brunch! The fair was really crowded and it was difficult to see all the products and take photos, also because I only had my small Canon Powershot with me, but here's a couple of pictures anyway.

Kunstwerk im Viertel

Lupasin näyttää teille parhaita paloja taiteilijoiden ja käsityöläisten työhuoneilta ja tässä niitä nyt tulee melkoinen määrä, sillä ehdin kiertää aika monta paikkaa. Omaksi suosikikseni nousi Christian Plepin Organic Tapestry, jonka töistä pidin niin paljon, että täytyy varmaan ruveta säästämään sukanvarteen taidehankintaa varten. Lisätietoja tapahtumasta ja osallistujista löytyy täältä. Erään paikan esittelen kyllä vielä myöhemmin, sillä se ansaitsee ihan oman postauksensa.

Il mio preferito era Organic Tapestry di Christian Plep e mi sa che devo cominciare a mettere a parte soldi per acquistare uno dei suoi quadri. Ulteriori informazioni sulla iniziativa e sui partecipanti si possono trovare qui. Uno dei posti che ho visitato era comunque tanto interessante che merita un post tutto suo, quindi ne parlerò un'altra volta.

I promised to show you pictures I took at the artists' and craftsmens studios and here they come. There are quite many pictures since I managed to visit a lot of places. I really loved Christian Plep's Organic Tapestry and I think I'm going to have to start saving money for one of his paintings. You can find more information on the happening and the participants here. One of the places I visited was so interesting that I'm going to write another post about it later on.

Bremenin boheemissa Viertel-kaupunginosassa on tänä viikonloppuna avoimet ovet monien taiteilijoiden ja käsityöläisten työhuoneille. Nerokas idea ainakin näin taiteen ystävän näkökulmasta! Tyttäret sattuivat vielä olemaan iltapäivällä keramiikkapajassa samoilla nurkilla, joten taidekierros sopi täydellisesti päivän ohjelmaan. Näissä kuvissa on näkymiä kaduilta reitin varrelta ja seuraavassa postauksessa näytän vähän parhaita paloja työhuoneilta.

Il quartiere artistico di Brema si chiama Viertel e questo fine settimana tanti artisti e artigiani hanno giornate di porte aperte nei loro studi. Un'idea geniale secondo me! Le mie figlie sono andate a un corso di ceramica nella stessa zona quindi ho sfruttato l'occasione per passare il pomeriggio nell'insegna dell'arte. Ora vi faccio vedere foto scattete fuori durante il giro e nel prossimo post vi faccio vedere alcune cose belle che ho visto negli studi.

Many artists and craftsmen live and work in the Viertel neighbourhood of Bremen and this weekend they organize an open house event. I think that's a brilliant idea! My girls went to a pottery workshop in the same area so I had the perfect occasion to spend an afternoon full of art art. These photos show what it looked like outside and in the next post I'll show you some nice things I saw in the artists' studios.
