(FI) Miltä tuntuisi yöpyä vanhassa sisältä remontoidussa satamanostokurjessa, nauttia luksushotellin varustelutasosta, nukahtaa veden liplatukseen Shuj:n ylellisten silkkipeitteiden ja lakanoiden syleilyssä, herätä aamulla keskellä Hampuria vastapäätä uutta Elbphilharmonie-konserttitaloa ja nauttia hyvällä säällä aamiaista omalla kannella? Pian tätä pääsee kokeilemaan, sillä uusi ainutlaatuinen HafenCity Hideaway -hotelli avataan toukokuun alussa.
Pääsin viime viikolla tutustumaan kohteeseen jo etukäteen ja matkaamaan vesireittiä nostokurjen kyydissä sen lopulliselle sijoituspaikalle. Sää matkapäivän aamuna oli upean aurinkoinen, mutta aurinko veti
valitettavasti pilveen hieman ennen kun lähdimme vesille eikä pieneltä tihkusateeltakaan
vältytty. Silti reissu oli hieno elämys, Hampuria kun harvemmin pääsee
katsomaan näistä vinkkeleistä.
Minihotellin sisustuksessa oli pieniä yksityiskohtia yhä kesken, esimerkiksi sängynvieruslamppuja ei ollut ehditty vielä asentaa, mutta kuten kuvat kertovat, hotelli yhdistelee jännästi tyylikkään ylellisiä yksityiskohtia ja rouheaa satamaromantiikkaa. Kylpytilojen hanat sopivat ihan täydellisesti karhean hienostuneeseen tyyliin ja kauniisti laskeutuvat eleettömät verhot viimeistelivät ilmeen ja pehmensivät tilaa. Sängyn petaus oli hieman keskeneräinen, sillä tyynyt puuttuivat, mutta eiköhän nekin saada paikalle ennen ensimmäisten hotellivieraiden saapumista.
Nostokurkihotellikonseptin luoneen Floatel GmbH:n takana ovat Tim Wittenbecher ja Marc Nagel, joille erikoisten hotellien rakentaminen on elämäntehtävä: tarkoituksena on rakentaa seuraavien kymmenen vuoden aikana mahdollisimman monta erikoista hotellikohdetta Eurooppaan. Toistaiseksi kokemusta on jo mm. majakkaan, vesitorniin ja luotsitorniin rakennettujen hotellien pyörittämisestä ja tulevia hotellihankkeita on jo käynnissä mm. Espanjassa ja Italiassa.
Minihotelli näyttää olevan kesäkuukausina jo varsin täyteen buukattu, joten jos tänne mielii yöksi, kannattaa suunnitella reissu hyvissä ajoin. Monimuotoinen Hampurihan on kyllä mahtava matkakohde, josta löytyy jokaiselle jotakin. Ehdoton lempikaupunkini Pohjois-Saksassa!

(IT) Come sarebbe dormire in una vecchia gru da porto, godersi l'arredo di un hotel di lusso, addormentarsi al rumore dell'acqua abbracciato dal piumino in seta e biancheria letto di Shuj,
svegliarsi nek centro di Amburgo di fronte all'auditorium Elbphilharmonie e, se il tempo è bello, fare colazione sul ponte privato? Presto sarà tutto possibile quando il nuovo albergo HafenCity Hideaway sarà aperto all'inizio di maggio.
La scorsa settimana ho avuto la possibilità di visitare l'albergo in anticipo e viaggiare con la gru lungo il fiume Elba fino alla posizione finale. La mattina il tempo era bellissimo ma un po' prima di partire sono arrivate le nuvole e una pioggia leggera. Ciononostante è stata un'esperienza bellissima, raramente si può vedere la città da questa prospettiva.
L'arredo del mini albergo non è ancora del tutto completato, non avevano per esempio fatto in tempo a istallare le lampade accanto al letto, ma dalle foto si vede come l'albergo unisce dettagli eleganti e raffinati allo stile industriale. I rubinetti della zona bagno erano perfettamente in linea con lo stile e le tende ricche e semplici creavano un'atmosfera più morbida e rifinita. Il letto non era fatto in modo perfetto, visto che mancavano i cuscini, ma arriveranno anche quelli prima dei primi ospiti.
Dietro Floatel GmbH che ha creato il concetto ci sono Tim Wittenbecher e Marc Nagel per cui costruire alberghi particolari è un modo di vivere; hanno intenzione di allestirne nei prossimi dieci anni in Europa il più possibile. Per il momento hanno già esperienza di alberghi costruiti in un faro, in una torre dell'acqua e in un una torre dei piloti e nuovi progetti sono in corso tra l'altro in Spagna e in Italia.
L'albergo gru sembra essere piuttosto prenotato nei mesi estivi quindi conviene progettare il viaggio in tempo se ci si vuole dormire. Amburgo poi è una meta fantastica, c'è qualcosa da vedere per tutti. È assolutamente la mia città preferita nella Germania del nord!
(EN) How would it sound like to spend a night in an old renovated harbor crane, enjoy the comfort of a luxury hotel, sleep in the sound of waves wrapped in a Shuj silk duvet and bedlinen, wake up in the Hamburg city center opposite to the Elbphilharmonie concert hall and, in good weather, have breakfast on a private deck? Soon it will be possible to experience all this as the new unique HafenCity Hideaway hotel will be opened in the beginning of May.
Last week I got to see the hotel in advance and travelled with the crane to its final location. In the morning the sun was shining but shortly before heading off clouds covered the sky and it started raining lightly. In spite of that I truly enjoyed the trip, it was a great to see the city from a new perspective.
The hotel interior details weren't quite finished yet, for example the lights beside the bed still needed to be installed, but as you can see, the hotel is an exciting mixture of sophisticated and luxurious details and rough industrial style. The bathroom faucets fit the interior perfectly and the beautifully draping and rich curtains soften the space, giving it a finished look. The bed was still lacking the pillows but I'm sure they will arrive before the first guests.
The men behind Floatel GmbH, the company that created the crane hotel concept, are Tim Wittenbecher and Marc Nagel, who aim to build in Europe as many special hideaways as possible in the next ten years. They already have experience in running hotels built in a lighthouse, in a water tower and in a piloting tower and new projects in Spain and Italy, just to mention some, are already in the making.
This tiny hotel seems to be pretty much fully booked during the summer so if you want to spend a night here, you should plan the trip well in advance. Hamburg then is a perfect travel destination that offers something interesting for everybody. My favourite city in Northern Germany without question!
