Muodikkaat materiaalit

Vierashuoneessamme on aika ajankohtaisia materiaaleja, vaikka se onkin sisustettu lähes täysin kierrätystavaroilla. Sieltä löytyy nimittäin rouheaa puuta, pellavaa, kullanväristä metallia ja marmoria. Huoneen seinälle on tulossa melkoisen ihana taulu, kunhan saan sen vain ensin vietyä kehystettäväksi, ja sängynpääty kaipaa edelleen verhoilua, mutta hyvin ovat vieraat huoneessa jo nytkin viihtyneet.

La nostra camera per gli ospiti è arredata quasi interamente con acquisti di seconda mano ma i materiali piuttosto attuali: legno grezzo, lino, metallo dorato e marmo. Ci metterò anche un quadro bellissimo quando riesco a farlo a incorniciare e dovrò ancora rivestire la testata, ma gli ospiti sono sembrati contenti anche già ora.

Our guestroom is furnished and decorated almost entirely with second-hand finds but the materials are quite in at the moment: rough wood, linen, golden metal and marble. There will be a really nice picture on the wall as soon as I get it framed and I still should upholster the bedhead but the guests have seemed quite happy with the room already as it is.
