(EN) I noticed yesterday that I haven't shown here any pictures of the dining room after I painted one of the walls gray. At the end I chose the paint colour Purbeck Stone by Farrow & Ball because it had enough contrast also with artificial lighting and didn't look too musty next to the floors. While choosing the colour I didn't think about it but when I had finished painting I noticed that the wall picked up the colour of the fridge we have in the corner of the room. There's a new plant in the room, a medinilla with pink flowers. I love it how it brings some life into the space but I'm afraid I need to move it to a lighter place. And if someone knows, please tell me if there's some easy trick for removing calcium from water. The water here is really hard and I read that the medinilla doesn't like water with lots of calcium in it. Oh well, the plant might not survive for a very long time in my care.

  1. Ihastuttava tuo tarjoiluvaunu.
    Kalkkiasiassa menee mullakin sormi suuhun.

    1. Kiitos! Täytyy kai vaan kastella kalkkivedellä ja katsoa, miten käy ;)

    1. Meidän ruokasalin ikkunat ovat pohjoiseen, joten en kovin tummaa sävyä halunnut tuohon seinään, ettei tule liian pimeää talvikaudella...
