Lounaan päätteeksi

(FI) Aamukahvit tuli juotua ennen kuin ehdin edes miettiä valokuvausta, mutta ruoan jälkeen täytyi toki juoda kupillinen espressoa, joten pääsen tänäänkin liittymään Ninjan kahvikutsuille. Lauantai-illan ohjelmassa on ainakin yksi Harry Potter -leffa, ja huomenna mies lupasi viedä tyttäret heti aamusta luistelemaan. Saa nähdä, ovatko he suunnitelman mukaisesti aamulla kymmeneltä jäähallilla. Eikä auta unohtaa leipoa laskiaispullia, vaikkei pulkkamäkeen päästäkään. Bremenin karnevaalikulkuekin jäi meiltä tänä vuonna näkemättä, mutta koulussa sentään juhlitaan karnevaalia alkuviikosta ja tytötkin pääsevät pukeutumaan valitsemiinsa asuihin.

(IT) Stamattina ho bevuto il caffè prima di tirare fuori la macchina fotografica ma ci vuole sempre un caffè anche dopo pranzo quindi mi posso unire anche oggi al circolo del caffè di Ninja. Stasera vedremo uno dei film di Harry Potter e domani mattina mio marito ha promesso di portare le figlie a pattinare. Vedremo se saranno al palazzo del ghiaccio subito alle dieci di mattina com'è il piano. Dobbiamo anche preparare dei dolci tradizionali finlandesi per il carnevale. Non abbiamo visto la sfilata di quest'anno a Brema ma le bambine si potranno mettere in maschera quando festeggiano il carnevale a scuola all'inizio della prossima settimana.

(EN) This morning I had my morning coffee before I got my camera out but I always drink a cup of espresso after lunch so I can partecipate also today in Ninja's Saturday coffee club. Tonight we'll watch one of the Harry Potter films and tomorrow morning my husband has promised to take to girls skating. We'll see if they really manage to be at the ice hall at ten o'clock in the morning. We have to prepare also some traditional Finnish carnival cream buns, known also as semla. We didn't see the carnival parade in Bremen this year but the children will put on their costumes and celebrate at school at the beginning of next week.

Kotiinpaluukukat

(FI) Oli aika hauska yhteensattuma, että kun palasin Bremeniin ja hyppäsin kodin lähellä raitiovaunusta, ensimmäinen asia jonka näin oli mies polkupyörineen iso tulppaanikimppu kourassa. Hän oli fiksusti ajatellut, että on mukava palata kotiin, kun on tuoreita kukkia odottamassa. Toden totta, pesua odottava valtava likapyykkikasakin jäi hetkeksi kukkien tuoman loisteen varjoon... Yksi valkoisista minihyasinttisipuleista oli poissa ollessani vihdoin kasvattanut kukkavarren. Kukat ovat hauskan näköisiä mutta niin voimakastuoksuisia, että ne oli pakko siirtää sivuun ruokapöydältä. Helsingissä ollessani en juuri ehtinyt pyöriä kaupungilla, mutta yhdestä keskeisestä maamerkistä ehdin sentään ottaa kuvan ratikkapysäkillä odotellessani. Mukavaa aurinkoista viikonloppua!

(IT) È stata una bella coincidenza che la prima cosa che ho visto quando sono scesa dal tram vicino a casa a Brema era mio marito con la bicicletta, un bel mazzo di tulipani in mano. Lui aveva pensato che sarebbe più bello tornare a casa se ci fossero fiori freschi ad aspettarmi. In effetti anche la enorme pila di bucato sporco che aspettava di essere lavata è stata coperta dallo splendore dei fiori... Uno dei bulbi di giacinto bianco ha finalmente cominciato a fiorire durante la mia assenza. I fiori sono molto belli ma il profumo è così forte che ho dovuto spostare il vaso lontano dal tavolo da pranzo. A Helsinki non ho avuto molto tempo per andare in giro in centro ma ho scattato almeno una foto di un punto di riferimento importante mentre aspettavo il tram. Buon fine settimana!

(EN) It was a nice coincidence that the first thing I saw when I stepped out of the tram near our home in Bremen was my husband on his bicycle with a big bouquet of tulips in his hand. He had thought that it was nicer to return home if there were some fresh flowers waiting for me. In fact the splendor of the flowers covered even the big pile of dirty laundry waiting to be washed... One of the white daffodil bulbs had finally started blooming while I was away. The flowers are really beautiful but the scent is so strong that I had to remove the vase from the dining table. I didn't have much time to go around in Helsinki but I did take a picture of an important landmark while waiting for the tram. Have a nice weekend.

Pellavapeite

(FI) Makuuhuoneen kevätuutuus jo vähän vilahtikin arvontapostauksessa. Ihastuin Zoeppritzin ihanan pehmeään pellavaiseen torkkupeittoon ja erityisesti sen väriin, joka näyttää enimmäkseen petroolinsiniseltä mutta välillä melkein vihreältä. Peitto antaa mielestäni mukavasti kontrastia punertavalle lattialle ja tiikkipöydälle. Näin eilen muuten näitä samoja torkkupeittoja Helsingin Stockalla, mutta samaa sävyä ei ollut ainakaan esillä. Huomatkaa myös, että makuuhuoneen seinälle on vihdoin saatu naulakko kylpytakkia varten. Kyllä nyt kelpaa!

Muistutan vielä, että Deko-lehtiarvontaan voi osallistua sunnuntaihin asti!

(IT) Nel post sul concorso si vedeva già di sfuggita una novità nella nostra camera da letto. La coperta di lino a nido d'ape di Zoeppritz è morbidissima e mi piace specialmente il colore blu petrolio che a volte sembra quasi verde. La coperta crea un bel contrasto con il pavimento piuttosto rosso e con il tavolino in legno di teak. A proposito, ho visto ieri la stessa coperta da Stockmann qui a Helsinki ma lo stesso colore non era esposto. Abbiamo finalmente anche appeso l'appendiabiti per il mio accappatoio. Sono proprio contenta!

(EN) In the giveaway post you could already see a glimpse of something new in our bedroom. The Zoeppritz honeycomb linen blanket is really soft and I love the petrol blue colour that sometimes looks almost green. The blanket creates a nice contrast with the floors and the teak table. By the way, I saw the same blanket yesterday at Stockmann here in Helsinki but not in the same colour. We have also finally hung the coat rack on the wall so I have a place for my bathrobe. I'm so happy!
