Ripaus joulua

(FI) Piparien leipominen vei eilen sen verran aikaa, etten ehtinyt tyttöjen kanssa vielä kaivaa joulukoristeita kellarista. Pari jouluista juttua kotiin kuitenkin saatiin piparien lisäksi, sillä lähikukkakaupalla oli joulunäyttelyn avajaiset ja sieltä löytyi alakerran tuulikaapin sisäoveen taidolla tehty peurakranssi. Kokosin myös jo aiemmin tilaamani paperisen Herrnhuter-tähden ja ripustin sen vierashuoneen ikkunaan, missä se voi pienen ledilampun ansiosta palaa vaikka ympäri vuorokauden. Lauantain Ikea-kassista löytyi vierashuoneeseen myös harmaat lampaantaljat vuoteen vierustoille. Kai niitäkin voi sanoa jouluisiksi?

(IT) Abbiamo impiegato molto tempo ieri a fare i biscotti allo zenzero e non c'era più tempo per prendere le decorazioni di natale dalla cantina. Nonostante ciò abbiamo ora già un paio di cose natalizie in casa, oltre ai biscotti, perché il fioraio vicino aveva ieri l'inaugurazione della stagione natalizia e ci abbiamo trovato una bellissima ghirlanda con cervo. Ho anche montato la stella di carta di Hernhuter che avevo ordinato già un po' prima e l'ho appesa nella stanza per gli ospiti. Volendo, grazie alla lampadina a led, la possiamo tenere sempre accesa. Nella borsa di Ikea c'erano anche due pelli di pecora da mettere accanto al letto per gli ospiti. Anche quelli sono un po' natalizi, vero?

(EN) Baking gingerbread biscuits with children is quite time consuming, so we didn't have time to get the Christmas decorations from the basement during the weekend. Anyhow, we did bring a little Christmas feel in the house, aside from the biscuits, because the nearby flower shop opened their Christmas season yesterday and we found a beautiful deer garland for the downstairs entry. I also assembled a Herrnhuter paper star I had ordered earlier and hung it on the guest room window. Thanks to a small led lamp, we can have it on around the clock if we want to. In the Saturdays Ikea shopping bag there were also two sheepskins for the guest room bedsides. Also those are a bit christmassy, aren't they?
